Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is set to reshuffle his cabinet for the second time since he took office in December, 2012.
On October 6, Mr. Abe discussed with Sadakazu Tanigaki, Secretary General of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), final details of the reshuffle. According to local reports, key government ministers like Finance Minister Taro Aso, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga, Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida and Akira Amari, Minister of Economic and Fiscal Policy, will retain their positions.
