Local youths bound for homeland seas and islands

The second phase of the program of “thousands of pottery dishes send love” was taken place at Cuong Phat Porcelain Co.Ltd. from Nov. 6-8.

Hundreds of pottery dishes containing love of Binh Duong youths were sent to marine soldiers, policemen working across homeland seas and islands.

Right from early morning at Cuong Phat pottery Co.Ltd., hundreds of youths and unionists eagerly attended in drawing on pottery dishes. Every youth choose the best seats to draw love messages through images of wave, boats, border pillars national flags, Vietnamese map, soldiers and more. Through these messages, local youths affirm Vietnam’s sea and island sovereignty. Of these, many images make viewers be moved profoundly such as young wives and children of marine soldiers and among others.

Nguyen Thi Ut Hanh, student of Binh Duong Culture and Fine Art School painted a border pillar and a marine soldier with the loved message. She revealed “I send love words through my works and hope that soldiers always put belief in the cause of the national protection. We will try our best to be useful people, contributing to build a civilized and prosperous country”.

Not only youths and unionists, local people and children also join enthusiastically in the program. Lu Gia Huy, the 6th grader of Phu Cuong secondary school in Thu Dau Mot city draws images of Truong Sa and Hoang Sa and the national flag. He explained “the national flag being pitched on Hoang Sa and Truong Sa islands means these islands belong to Vietnam”.

The program of “thousands of pottery dishes send love” co-held by the provincial youth union and Cuong Phat Porcelain Co.Ltd. is to inspire patriotism, national pride of local youths and unionists in particular and people in general. Besides, the program facilitates students and people’s love expression for marine soldiers and policemen and fishermen across the national seas and islands.

The program is divided into 3 phases. The first phase was held at the provincial youth union’s congress. The second phase takes place on Nov. 6-8 at Cuong Phat Porcelain Co.Ltd. and the final one will be organized in the festive day for Binh Duong Youths to be held in the end of this month.

Accordingly, participants will draw wishes and messages to soldiers, people and children across the national borders and seas and islands on unburnt pottery dishes after that these dishes will be burnt and displayed at exhibitions and will be sent to marine soldiers and fishermen.

The program will be reviewed and grant prizes to 50 most beautiful dishes at the 2nd provincial Students’ Congress.
