Establishment of Binh Duong concentrated IT park approved

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung has just signed the Decision No. 890/QĐ-TTg dated May 9, 2025, approving the establishment of the Binh Duong Concentrated Information Technology (IT) Park. The park covers an area of 15.47 hectares, located within the Binh Duong Industrial – Service – Urban Complex in Thu Dau Mot city’s Hoa Phu ward in Binh Duong province.

The Binh Duong Concentrated IT Park will operate in accordance with the functions and tasks prescribed for concentrated IT parks as stipulated in the Article 4 of the Government’s Decree No. 154/2013/ND-CP dated November 8, 2013.

Regarding incentive policies: Enterprises investing in IT projects within the Binh Duong Concentrated IT Park are entitled to the incentives stipulated in Decree No. 154/2013/ND-CP and other preferential policies applicable to concentrated IT parks as prescribed by law.

The Deputy Prime Minister has authorized Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee to decide on the establishment of a management organization and issue operating regulations for the Binh Duong Concentrated IT Park in the case where the project is funded by State capital. If the project is financed by non-state capital, the park's management organization shall be an enterprise established and operating under the provisions of the Law on Enterprises.

Provincial People’s Committee  is responsible for presiding over and coordinating with relevant ministries, sectors and agencies to organize the implementation; ensuring effective and lawful investment, construction, management and operation of the IT park and selecting investors to implement infrastructure construction projects for the park in accordance with the laws on investment.

Provincial People's Committee is also responsible for guiding the implementation of environmental impact assessments for the infrastructure investment project of the Binh Duong Concentrated IT Park, in accordance with the provisions of the law on environmental protection.
