On Oct 10th 2014, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular No. 150/2014 / TT-BTC stipulating the amount, procedures of collection, payment, management and use of examination fee of fire prevention and fighting’s design. Accordingly, agencies, organizations, and individuals requesting fire prevention and fighting police to examine and approve fire prevention and fighting’s designs have to pay examination fee.
Fee amounts were calculated based on the total project investment approved under Article 4 of Circular No. 150/2014 / TT-BTC, namely, the minimum fee was VND2 million and the maximum fee was VND200 million.
In cases of changes in project purposes, categories, vehicles, examination fee would be charged by 40% of the first examination fee. Examination fee will be paid at provincial Treasury in accordance with Article 6 of Circular No. 150/2014 / TT-BTC. Since March 1st 2015, provincial Fire prevention and fighting police will perform the collection of examination fee.
