Provincial Labor Union has just organized a training course on the 2013 Employment Law, the Decree No.103/2014/ND-CP regulating 2015’s region-based minimum wages for more than 250 Trade Union officials and laborers.
During the training course, participants were guided the Law on Employment and region-based minimum wages. Accordingly, the region-based minimum wages are implemented in the province as follows: For the Region I, the wage of VND3.1mln per capita per month is applied to laborers at firms in TDM city; Thuan An, Di An, Ben Cat and Tan Uyen towns; Bau Bang and North Tan Uyen districts. For the Region II, the level is VND2.75mln to laborers at firms in Phu Giao and Dau Tieng districts. The region-based minimum wages take effects from January 1, 2015.
The above law and decree aim to ensure stable jobs for laborers; raise the State and society’s responsibility to the issues of promoting jobs, improving working conditions and enhancing the quality of jobs for laborers.
