On the afternoon of January 13, provincial Labor Union donated Tet gifts to trade unionists and workers with difficult circumstances in Thuan An city. The event was attended by Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Kim Loan, Chairwoman of provincial Labor Union.

Accordingly, the delegation visited Thong Dung Shoes Co., Ltd. in Thuan An city, where more than 4,000 workers are working and gave 100 Tet gifts worth VND 1 million each from provincial State budget for the company’s poor employees who stay here for Tet.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Hieu sent best regards and New Year wishes to the company's directorate and employees for their efforts in overcoming difficulties. He spoke highly of Trade Union activities at the company, especially in taking care of employees with difficult circumstances, illness and accidents; organizing fun and entertainment activities for employees while expecting the company’s leaders and trade union local to continue making efforts to take care of employees' lives.
*On the afternoon of the same day, the delegation visited and offered gifts to 2 needy workers who are staying at lodging facilities in Thuan An city’s An Phu and Thuan Giao wards. Each gift included VND 10 million from the local Fund for workers with extremely difficult circumstances together with a Tet gift.
