On October 7, Phu Giao district held a conference to review the ten-year implementation of a resettlement project for ethnic minority people in An Binh commune.

The resettlement project was implemented in Tam Lap commune’s Gia Bien hamlet in An Binh commune by provincial Department for Settlement and Emigration with a total area of 200 hectares. It focused on the construction of residential infrastructure, the re-arrangement of farmland, and the development of irrigation systems over the past ten years. So far, 112 ethnic minority households in the commune have been granted arable land with one hectare for each household. Among them, 72 have received the certificates of land use rights. The local functional agencies are fulfilled procedures for granting the certificates of land use rights to the remaining 40 households. Most of them have effectively used their land granted from the project, securing a stable life.
On this occasion, the People’s Committee of Phu Giao district awarded the certificates of merit to 3 collectives and 8 individuals for their excellent performance in the implementation of the resettlement project.
