Early June 11, provincial Farmers’ Society summed up the patriotic emulation movement among farmers between 2005 and 2010.
Over the past five years, the movement of “farmers helping each other in economic development” saw development both in width and depth. There were 124,647 farmers getting the title of “good farmer in production and business”. Provincial Farmers’ Society also joined hands with credit organizations to help the local farmers get more than VND568bln in loans to develop homebased business. There were also 4,555 farmer households escaping poverty and building 106 houses of compassion. The local farmers were mobilized to take part in the movements of building rural infrastructure, socio-culture, security and national defence…
On this occasion, provincial Farmers’ Society also partially summed up the three-year implementation of the campaign “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” among farmers. Through the campaign, there appeared many collectives and individuals who voluntarily contributed more than VND23bln and 56,500 working days to rural road-making, economic-socio-cultural development.
