Dau Tieng district generated jobs for 8,578 laborers over the past five years. On average, there were 1,700 laborers getting jobs at firms, rubber and livestock breeding farms every year. The district’s Vocational Training Center opened vocational-oriented classes for 456 rural youths and demobees.
The district also mobilized organizations and individuals to build, upgrade and hand over 128 gratitude houses, 475 charity and unity ones; inaugurated 2 monuments for martyrs; collected 33 sets of remains of martyrs for burial at district’s Martyrs’ Cemetery.
As a result, the lives of the gratitude and poor households in the district have so far been improved. The ratio of the poor households herein is now at below 2% under the province’s new poverty line.
