Reps of Thu Dau Mot city leadership committee grant merit certificates to typical individuals to the patriotic emulation movement for the period of 2010-2015.
On May 19, Thu Dau Mot city Party Committee, People’s Committee, Council People and Fatherland Front Committee held a conference for typical examples for the period of 2010-2015.
Over the past 5 years, Thu Dau Mot city launched many patriotic emulation movements, winning great response from local residents. Through the emulation movements, more and more typical examples, collectives and individuals have emerged, helping the municipal administration complete local goals of socio-economy and national defense and security.
Accordingly, local economic growth pace has been maintained at high and stable level with an increase of 25.58%. In addition, the locality has won a rise of 19.68% per year in local industrial production value, trade and service in 23.12% per year. The city has focused on applying tech-science into production, transferring nursling and species structure to urban and hi-tech agriculture, contributing to rise production and plant and species quality as well as assured social welfare policies.
At the conference, deputies exchanged with typical individuals of patriotic emulation movements. The event honored 183 typical individuals of the movement for the period of 2010-2015 and launched patriotic emulation movement for the period of 2015-2020.
