On the afternoon of September 5, the People’s Committee of Vinh Phu ward in Thuan An town in collaboration with the town’s Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients and province-based Taiwan Business Association presented gifts to the local disadvantaged people.
Accordingly, they gave 90 gifts worth VND300,000 each, comprising of rice, cooking oil, soya sauce, instant noodle…, for the local disadvantaged people. Although being small, these gifts express the attention of the local government for disadvantaged people. This is one of activities annually held by the town’s Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients and province-based Taiwan Business Association.
*On the occasion of the Vu Lan festival 2017, the family of Huynh Van Rang in Thuan An town’s Lai Thieu ward has just offered 100 gifts worth VND150,000 each, including rice, instant noodle, sugar, seasoning powder…, to the local poor, disabled and lonely elderly people.
It is known that over the past time, his family funded construction of tens of houses of compassion; raise money for the local “Gratitude Fund” and “Fund for the Poor”, charity kitchens; supported people hit by natural disasters…
