In response to the 2011 Youth Year and mobilization of “Vietnamese youths follow Uncle Ho’s teachings”, Di An town youths have made many initiatives and good deeds to be typical youths of Di An town in particular and Binh Duong in general.
Thanks to spurring promulgations at all levels, the mobilization has spread to all members in every families in the town.
Nguyen Thi My Hanh, secretary of the town Youth Union, said “After nearly 4 years of implementing the mobilization, over 30,000 local youths have won the title of Uncle Ho’s obedient children”.
Recently, implementing the Polituburo’s Instruction 03, the town youth union has launched model of “remembering and following Uncle Ho’s teachings”.
Meanwhile, to solve shortcomings of environmental pollution, in 2008 Thuan An town division of Natural Resources and Environment’s youth union built a project of “environmental protection for the 2008-2010 period”. As a result, the project created significant achievements, raising local people’s awareness on environmental protection. Especially, eyeing the goal of building Thuan An town into 3rd class urban area by 2015, the project has been implemented in the 2011-2015 period.
Obviously, the birth of the project has contributed to exploit and use natural resources properly as well as to encourage and apply clean technology in a bid to recycle energy for the sake of production and life.
