A ceremony to launch the 2011 summer youth volunteer campaign was held at Hiep An ward’s cultural compound in TDM town on the morning of July 10.

This year’s campaign will focus on activities “For social welfare”, including those for a civilized and modern Binh Duong and the local youth’s development…Twenty five squads with 510 volunteers will come to remote regions in the province and other localities, including Dac Nong, Binh Phuoc, Ca Mau, Dong Thap to assist locals during the campaign.
After the launching ceremony, the local youths got involved in volunteer activities registered by them. Particularly, provincial Club for Young Physicians provided free medical check-ups and medicine for nearly 100 locals at Hiep An ward People’s Committee. Other volunteers also took part in growing 100 green trees at Tan An B primary school and TDM town Cultural House for Children…
