Early January 30, the Trade Union of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) held a conference to review its activities in 2014 and define orientations through 2015.
The Trade Union of VSIP now has a total of 253 trade union locals with nearly 97,000 trade unionists. Over the past time, the Trade Union well realized its role of protecting laborers’ legitimate rights and interests. Around 110 trade union locals have so far reached mass labor deals. As many as 300 trade unionists and laborers were also got legal consultancy from trade union locals. This contributed to bringing legitimate rights and interests to 90 trade unionists and laborers.
On this occasion, the Trade Union of VSIP also launched the 2015 emulation movement among trade unionists and laborers with the following contents: Organizing emulation movements in association with propaganda of the country’s great holidays and political events; making dissemination of information about the central resolutions and directives on “Building Vietnamese working class in the intensified period of national industrialization and modernization”; boosting leadership work in building advanced, stable and harmonious labor relations in businesses; promoting the emulation movements of “Good at workplace, responsible to housework”, “Working well, working creatively”…
