The 2015 provincial Festival for Outstanding Families was organized at provincial Cultural Center on the morning of June 16 on the occasion of Vietnam Family Day (June 13).
With the theme of “Family meal full of love and warmness”, the festival absorbed 27 outstanding families across the province. They experienced 3 test parts: sports, cooking and aptitude at the festival.
Nguyen Thi Minh Nghia, Deputy Director of provincial Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism said that many activities in celebration of this year’s Vietnam Family Day have been organized across the province with a goal of “building Vietnamese people’s character from education of morality, lifestyle in family”. This was also a chance for the local outstanding families to exchange and share mutual experience in building well-off, advanced and happy families.
Finally, first prizes in sports, aptitude and cooking went to three families in Thuan An town, Bau Bang district and Di An town, respectively. These families will be also sorted out to attend the 2015 Southeastern Festival for Outstanding Families to be held in Binh Thuan province from June 24 to 26 ahead.
