*Thuan An, North Tan Uyen kick off competitions on “Youths with the law”
Early November 6, provincial People’s Committee held a ceremony in response to Vietnam Law Day (November 9) and the 2016 provincial “Workers with the law” festival. Attending the event were Nguyen Thanh Binh, Head of the Southern Task Department under the Ministry of Justice; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, Chairman of provincial Council of Law Dissemination; representatives of sectors, departments, Ben Cat town, enterprises together with more than 3,000 workers in the province.

Addressing the ceremony, Mr.Hung highlighted the goal and significance of Vietnam Law Day while emphasizing that the 2016 provincial “Workers with the law” Festival was an outstanding event in response to Vietnam Law Day with many practical activities. For activities in response to the annual Vietnam Law Day getting high results, he also asked for sectors and authorities at all levels of the province to further have practical organization forms at organizations and individuals’ legal needs. Province-based enterprises also need to create favorable conditions for laborers to have a long attachment to them.
On this occasion, provincial People’s Committee presented baskets on legal books to 10 enterprises. Leaders of the Ministry of Justice, provincial People’s Committee, sectors and departments in the province directly handed over legal books to Long Yi Co.Ltd. at Ben Cat town-based My Phuoc 2 Industrial Park.
*The same day, Thuan An town’s Organization Board for the Project on “Improving youths’ legal awareness” held the 2016 competition on “Youths with the law” at the town’s Center for Political Training.
This year’s competition absorbed 172 candidates from 34 units. They experienced 2 test parts: multiple-choice with contents regarding the Law on Corruption Prevention, the Law on Military Service, the Law on Birth, Death and Marriage and drawing for propaganda.
Finally, the organizers awarded 1 first, 2 second, 3 third and 5 consolidation prizes to individuals. Particularly, first prize went to Dai Thi Diem Huong of the Youth Union of Thuan An town’s Judgement Enforcement Agency. Binh Nham ward won first and second prizes in the team rankings. The Youth Union of Thuan town’s People’s Council-People’s Committee Office and Thuan Giao ward were third. Six consolidation prizes were also awarded to other units.
*The same day, North Tan Uyen town’s Organization Board for the Project on “Improving youths’ legal awareness” held the 2016 competition for youth squads on law dissemination.
The competition focused on the Law on Corruption Prevention, the Law on Military Service and the Law on Birth, Death and Marriage. Eventually, the organizers also sorted out outstanding collectives and individuals to attend the 2016 provincial competition on the law.
