On the evening of November 14, provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) in collaboration with Thuan An town and Lai Thieu ward’s FFCs held a ceremony to launch the 2017 provincial campaign of “All people unite to build new-style rural and civilized urban areas”, in attendance of Nguyen Thanh Liem, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Public Relations, Chairman of provincial FFC; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial Party Committee.
According to a report released by Thuan An town’s FFC, the campaign of “All people unite to build new-style rural and civilized urban areas” was promoted over the past time, contributing to the local socio-economic development. Many effective models were also maintained, making the campaign get in-depth development.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr.Liem called for all locals to actively respond to the 2017 provincial campaign of “All people consolidate to build up new rural and civilized urban areas” with five main contents: economic development, education-healthcare, environmental protection, social order and safety, social criticism and monitoring towards a clean and strong political system.
Provincial FFC, Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism, Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development also signed a cooperation agreement on the implementation of the campaign.
