Early October 19, Tan Uyen city’s People's Committee organized the 2024 digital transformation festival.
In response to the 2024 National Digital Transformation Day and Binh Duong provincial Digital Transformation Day, the city has recently held a series of propaganda activities, including implementing pilot digital transformation models in quarters and hamlets; organizing an information security and cybersecurity within the city; launching a 10-day intensive campaign by the community digital technology teams and installing free Wi-Fi at the city’s square for public use.
Additionally, there were parades to promote digital transformation, booths showcasing digital products and applications, encouraging online shopping on e-commerce platforms, promoting the use of digital products and services, facilitating cashless payments and providing free digital signatures for residents.
At the event, the organizers in coordination with Agribank’s Tan Uyen branch, awarded 15 scholarships to students with difficult circumstances and honored 10 collectives for their achievements and contributions to digital transformation efforts in 2024.
