Early March 15, Thu Dau Mot city’s Youth Union Standing Committee, in collaboration with Phu Loi ward’s Youth Union, hosted the 2025 provincial "Peak Day of Volunteer Soldiers for Urban Civilization” at Phu Loi Primary School. The program was attended by Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh, Deputy Head of provincial Party Committee's Propaganda-Education and Mass Mobilization Commission; Le Tuan Anh, Permanent Vice Secretary of provincial Youth Union; local leaders together with more than 200 soldiers of armed forces, Youth Union members, young people and residents.

The program introduced five volunteer youth teams, including the Urban Civilization Volunteer Soldier Team, the Volunteer Team for Free Medical Check-ups and Medicine Distribution, the Digital Literacy Volunteer Team, the Online Public Service Support Team, the "Companion" Club Team. Thu Dau Mot city’s Youth Standing Committee also organized a program to launch five volunteer youth teams for urban civilization and signed a commitment on "Ensuring the organization of activities to participate in building urban civilization" with the Youth Unions of 14 wards and Thu Dau Mot city’s Military Command.
On this occasion, Phu Loi ward’s Youth Union presented a youth work on "Urban civilization lighting", donated solar-powered streetlights installed at Mien Nui Park in quarter 4. Additionally, 20 gift packages were given to students and residents with difficult circumstances. Notably, during the program, provincial Youth Union also launched the 2025 "Digital Literacy" movement in Thu Dau Mot city, aiming at helping people get acquainted, gradually adapting to digital transformation.
