On June 25, Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Di An City held a conference to summarize the implementation of Resolution of the City Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term and the work of People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.
At the conference, Di An City presented a summary report, affirming that the city had completed 47/56 Resolution targets, of which 19 targets exceeded the plan. In Party development, the locality has established 10 new Party organizations in enterprises and admitted 163 Party members, reaching 163% of the target assigned by the Provincial Party Committee. Administrative reform and digital transformation have achieved many outstanding results. Local economy continues to grow positively; poverty rate drops below 1%...
During the 2021-2026 term, the City People's Council held 15 meetings in accordance with regulations; questioning and supervision activities were enhanced. An important milestone during the term was that Di An City was recognized as a class-two urban area and was awarded the First-Class Labor Medal by the President.
During her speech at the conference, Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Standing Member of Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Di An City Party Committee, emphasized that after more than 25 years of development, Di An has transformed from a district facing numerous challenges into a dynamic and modern class-two urban area. This progress reflects the collective effort and unwavering dedication of many generations of officials, party members, civil servants, public employees, and residents of Di An City.
In conjunction with this occasion, Di An City Party Committee announced and presented the decisions made by Provincial Party Committee, as well as Provincial and City People's Committees, regarding the retirement and early retirement of several leaders and officials. Di An City also honored the "Cadre Framework" of three new wards with flowers and recognized 12 groups for their outstanding contributions to building the Party organization for the 2020-2025 term.
Additionally, 14 collectives and 33 individuals were rewarded for their active participation in the activities of the City People's Council, and gifts were presented to 34 delegates of the City People's Council for the 2021-2026 term in appreciation of their service.
