According to a report from provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the model of “family violence prevention” has been implemented in 40 communes, wards and townships with 220 clubs of “family with sustainable development”, 220 groups of “family violence prevention” and 220 grassroots conciliation groups set up.
The model of “Conciliating cultural families in the national industrialization and modernization period” and the project of “Propaganda and education on morality and lifestyle among Vietnamese families” have also been implemented in 14 communes, wards and townships with 100 hamlets and quarters. Initially, management boards at grassroots level of the model and project have been equipped with computers, filing cabinets…They have sped up propaganda work via many forms. Particularly, they issued 377,000 leaflets on family violence prevention and Vietnamese women’s virtue in the intensified period of national industrialization and modernization, 6,480 books on “Questions and answers on Gender and the law on Gender Equality” and installed 129 propaganda panels against family violence…
