Early August 11, Vietcombank’s North Binh Duong branch in collaboration with Ben Cat town’s Division of Education-Training and Study Promotion Society held a ceremony to award “Vietcombank gives strength to school” scholarships worth VND150million to 220 poor-but-excellent pupils at town-based primary and secondary schools. Attending the event were Bui Duy Hien, Secretary of the town’s Party Committee and Tran Thi Thao, Vice-Chairwoman of the town’s People’s Committee.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Xuan Giang, Director of Vietcombank’s North Binh Duong branch said that this was one of social activities regularly implemented by the branch, aiming to encourage poor pupils to surmount difficulties and further pursue their learning.
It is known that after four years of development, along with business results, the branch has contributed to the local development.
