In the morning of March 25, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Control of Ben Cat town awarded certificates of completion of centralized quarantine for 14 days to 229 Vietnamese citizens returning from the US, transiting via Korea on the flight VN405.
Before that, on March 24, Binh Duong provincial health sector took the second samples which were negative for Covid-19 of all 229 citizens before their leaving of the quarantine ward.
The process of quarantine is attentively served by medical staff, doctors and soldiers in Becamex - My Phuoc social housing area. Every day, the management board of the quarantine area organizes the spraying and disinfection of the living room, measuring the body temperature, and providing the latest information on the epidemic situation etc.
On receiving the certificates of completing the concentrated quarantine period, 100% of the citizens were excited for the proper implementation of the responsibilities of the Vietnamese citizens. Returning to their family after a period of concentrated quarantined, they are advised to do their own isolation at home for an additional 14 days as well as to advocate for family, relatives and community measures to prevent and control the epidemic and to repel Covid-19.
It is known that the 7th Military Region Command previously regulated for Binh Duong to receive and quarantine 231 Vietnamese citizens who were returning from the US via Korea on flight VN405. On March 10, Binh Duong provincial health sector took samples of them to detect 2 positive cases, which were patients 2531 and 2532. Currently, both patients in stable health are being treated at Binh Duong provincial General Hospital.
