Early June 4, provincial Labor Union forwarded a conference honoring outstanding laborers in the 2010-2014 period.
Attending the event were Nguyen Van Ngang, Vice-Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL); Nguyen Thanh Liem, Head of provincial Public Relations Commission; representatives of sectors, departments together with 254 outstanding collectives and individuals representing units and laborers in the province.

Trade Unions at all levels of the province over the past five years promoted patriotic emulation movements among laborers. Noticeably, the “Well working, creatively working” emulation movement absorbed 80% of laborers in the province. The local patriotic emulation movements during the past five years also contributed to creating 2,770 works and products worth more than VND1.36trillion with a total benefit from them at over VND950bln; there were also 7,629 technical initiatives, bringing enterprises a total benefit of more than VND200bln.
Addressing the event, Mr.Ngang spoke highly of achievements done by the local workforce, contributing to fulfilling the local targets on socio-economic development. He also said that the local Trade Unions at all levels needed to further speed up propaganda work among laborers to raise their awareness of the role, position and importance of emulation and reward work.
