Particularly, the delegation extended best regards to the local Khmer ethnic people and gave them 250 gifts worth VND200 each, including instant noodle, rice, cooking oil and soya sauce. These gifts worth VND50mln were funded by Thu Dau Mot city’s Red Cross Society and Hung Duc Tu Charity Society.
It is known that members of Hung Duc Tu Charity Society are teachers who were retired or now teach at the city-based schools. Over the past time, the society provided free 500 meals for homeless people, lottery buyers and poor patients at hospitals.
