The Cultural, Sports, and Broadcasting Center of Tan Uyen city has successfully organized the 2024 Traditional Boat Racing Championship of Tan Uyen city. This year's competition saw the participation of 10 teams from within and outside Tan Uyen city, with 250 athletes competing vigorously in two main race distances of 500m and 1,000m.
The organizing committee awarded prizes to the teams that achieved high rankings in the competition.
After many years of organization, the Traditional Boat Racing Championship of Tan Uyen City has become a prominent model of mass water sports; it is a strong sport of the locality, bringing many high achievements in provincial-level competitions. From this platform, the Cultural, Sports, and Broadcasting sector of Tan Uyen City has been implementing the "Project to Maintain and Develop the Traditional Boat Racing Sport of the Locality for the period 2021-2026 and orientation towards 2030".
