Early June 26, provincial Labor Union held the 5th provincial conference for outstanding laborers from 2020 to 2035.
The event was attended by Tran Thanh Hai, Permanent Vice-Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL); Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.
Over the past five years, the emulation movement of “Working well, working creatively” absorbed the participation of over 85% of civil servants and laborers in the province’s important socio-economic fields. As a result, the whole province had a total of 3,650 technical initiative, useful solutions made by civil servants and laborers, bringing more than VND1.45trillion in profit to businesses. There were 2 collectives awarded the emulation banner of the Government; 1 collective and 30 individuals with the certificates of merit of the Government; 210 collectives and 623 individuals commended and rewarded by the VGCL; 2,578 outstanding laborers honored by provincial People’s Committee. The local civil servants and laborers also actively responded to emulation movements launched by the PM for the 2015-2020 period, namely “Solidarity, creation, emulation in national defence and construction”, “Whole country joining hands in new-style rural construction”, “Whole country joining hands for the poor-Leaving no one behind”…
At the conference, delegates heard speeches from trade union locals and higher ones. Provincial Labor Union also launched a patriotic emulation movement for the 2020-2025 period. On this occasion, provincial Labor Union honored 48 outstanding collectives and 209 outstanding individuals…
