In a bid to generate jobs for farming households affected by the local urbanization process, provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DoARD) over time organized 258 vocational-oriented classes for more than 8,000 farmers. The sector also held study tours for officials and members of Farmers’ Associations at all levels.
Leaders of provincial DoARD said that this was the great effort by the province in orienting farmers to make the shift of plants and animals, giving vocational training for them in the new period when Binh Duong will become a centrally-controlled municipality.
