On May 18, Thuan An town’s People’s Committee forwarded the 4th conference honoring exemplary role-models in the 2010-2015 period.
The town’s patriotic emulation movement among civil servants and laborers between 2010 and 2015 brought practical results, contributing to the local socio-economic and cultural achievements. Particularly, the town reached considerable results as follows: GDP reached an annual growth of 13%; the average income per capita was VND74mln/year; State budget collection grew by 8%/year; total investment capital for socio-cultural development gained over VND60trillion; economic structure saw a shift towards the growth of industry-services and the reduction of agriculture with respective proportion 70.5%, 29.2% and 0.3%.
Besides, the local authorities at all levels paid attention to socio-cultural fields with much progress. The spiritual and material lives of the local people were improved a lot. The local political security and social order-safety were also always maintained, creating favorable conditions for locals to promote the local socio-economic development.
On this occasion, 270 outstanding individuals in the 2010-2015 patriotic emulation movement were awarded the certificates of merit of Thuan An town’s People’s Committee.
