On December 27, Binh Duong provincial Red Cross coordinated with localities to organize the ceremony of handing over 3 houses of Red Cross charity and grand unity to households of housing difficulties in Phu Giao district and Thuan An city.
In Thuan An city, the Red Cross house was handed over to Mrs. Dang Tran Trung Hau's household, in Thanh Hoa B neighborhood of An Thanh ward at a total construction cost of VND 205 million of which Mr. Le Thanh Vu, Chairman of People's Committee of An Thanh ward donated VND 60 million and the rest was donated by other benefactors.
In Phu Giao district, 2 Red Cross charitable houses were handed over to Mrs. Vu Thi Xuyen at Binh An hamlet in An Binh commune and Mrs. Do Thi Thuy at Tan Thai hamlet in An Thai commune. The house of Mrs. Vu Thi Xuyen had a total construction cost of VND 100 million. Ms. Do Thi Thuy's house had a total construction cost of more than VND 115 million; in which the Red Cross of An Thai commune mobilized to support more than VND 35 million. In the above 3 houses, the provincial Red Cross mobilized Kocham Binh Duong and Eins Vina Co. Ltd. to support each house VND 80 million.
On December 27, Southern Power Company and Binh Duong Power Company cooperated with Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Dau Mot city to present a house of great solidarity to Mr. Truong Viet Chanh's household at Quarter 9 of Hiep An ward in Thu Dau Mot city.
The house was built on an area of 43 square meters of wall structure, corrugated iron roof and other auxiliary works. Total construction cost was VND 80 million. In order to reduce the cost of electricity consumption and share difficulties with the family, Binh Duong Power Company also donated more solar power equipment to the family.
It is known that in 2021 Southern Power Company and Binh Duong Power Company, in collaboration with the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee in the province to build 10 houses of solidarity to give to disadvantaged households in the provincial areas.
