Late January 21, at the hall of Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations in Binh Duong Province was the summing up conference for the 6th Binh Duong Contest of Technical Initiatives. Attending the conference was Dang Minh Hung, the Deputy Chair of Provincial People’s Committee.

The 6th Provincial Contest of Technical Initiatives of 2013-2015 was initiated from December 2013 to July 2015 to encourage and promote creativity and resolutions to economic and technical emergencies of the province. The Contest attracted 45 resolutions of 45 authors and groups of authors from in and outside of the province in 8 fields in which, authors from Binh Duong Province were accounted for 25 out of 45 resolutions.

As a result, organizers awarded 30 prizes to 30 authors and groups of authors for their brilliant achievements. Of the prizes, 2 first prizes were awarded to Pham Tu Anh Vu from Vinamach Agriculture Machines & Equipment Co. Ltd. for his initiatives of special seeding machine on rice patches in the field of machinery and author group of Phan Nguyen Ai Nhi and partners at Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Sciences for their initiative of Periodic systems of molecules for the blind in the field of education and training.
By the end of September 2015, organizers have dispatched 20 resolutions and initiatives to attend the 12th National Contest of Technical Initiatives of 2014-2015. As a result, Binh Duong Province won 1 second and 2 promotional prizes in fields of education and training and information technology.
