300 scholarships and Tet gifts awarded to poor children

Early January 11, the Standing Committee of provincial People's Council, in coordination with the Standing Committee of Thuan An city’s People's Council and the Standing Committee of provincial Youth Union, organized the 2025 program on "People's Council Delegates with Spring for Children in Difficult Circumstances”. The program received support from the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and Binh Duong provincial Children's Support Fund.

The event was attended by Truong My Hoa, former Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Chairwoman of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund; Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Propaganda-Education Commission; Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Deputy Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation and Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of provincial People's Council.

The program awarded 300 Tet gifts and 300 scholarships worth VND 1 million each to children with difficult circumstances. Of these, the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund donated 200 scholarships and gifts to children in need in the province. The Standing Committee of Thuan An city’s People's Council contributed 100 scholarships and gifts to children with difficult circumstances in Thuan An city.

On this occasion, provincial Young Physicians’ Association, in collaboration with Miss Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc (Miss Earth 2022), donated a medical care program worth VND 500 million to children with difficult circumstances.

Also in the program, the Standing Committee of provincial Youth Union launched provincial "Children's Council" model. This model operates based on the principles of voluntariness, self-management, with guidance from the "Advisory Board”.
