The provincial leaders grant the outstanding teacher titles to teachers.
On Nov. 18, the provincial department of Education and Training held a get-together to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teacher’s Day (Nov. 20, 1982-2014). Attending the meeting were Nguyen Minh Giao, head of the provincial Education and Propaganda Committee, Tran Thanh Liem, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and numerous teachers through various stages.
At the meeting, teachers tracked back memories during their working process. In the past school year, the provincial education sector continued to maintain primary, secondary and high education universalization. In addition, rate of high school graduates won 99.88%, 26 out of 32 schools reaching rate of 100% of graduates.
Speaking at the meeting, Tran Thanh Liem, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee applauded achievements done by the local education sector, especially positive contributions of cadres, teachers across the province.
The vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee expressed his hope that local teachers would improve teaching capacity and renovate teaching method and deserve bright examples for students.
On this occasion, 14 teachers were awarded the outstanding teacher titles, one individual got the Government’s merit certificate while Di An high school’s collective was presented emulation flag by the Ministry of Education and Training.
