On Aug 11, VNPT Binh Duong held a conference to preliminarily summarize one year after applying VNPT-HIS medical management software at healthcare facilities in the province.
To improve the overcrowding in hospitals, minimize waiting time for customers, VNPT has developed and provided VNPT-HIS healthcare management software to health facilities. This software has fully met criteria of the health sector, contributed to improving the quality of health services.
With PPC’s approval, VNPT Binh Duong collaborated with Department of Health to provide VNPT-HIS healthcare management software to health facilities including district and commune levels. The software has been applied at 35 health facilities, including 3 district-level health facilities (Tieng, Ben Cat and Phu Giao), and 32 regional health centers, clinics within these 3 districts. After one year, 734 medical officials (accounts) are using this software; 73,299 participants of health check, outpatient treatment, and 3,000 participants of inpatient treatment.
At the conference, representatives of health facilities and software provider discussed advantages and difficulties in the implementation process. VNPT Binh Duong noted all comments, opinions at the conference to better the software, put into widespread use in all health facilities in the province in the coming time.
