On November 3, the 3rd congress of Bau Bang district’s Red Cross Society for the 2021-2026 term with the theme of "Upholding the tradition of compassion, solidarity, dynamism and creativity for humanitarian cause" took place successfully.

The event was attended by Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of provincial Red Cross Society together with leaders of the district and 115 official delegates representing more than 5,060 members in the district.
In the last term, the district’s Red Cross Society successfully fulfilled assigned tasks. The total value of activities and movements done by the society was nearly VND 39 billion, offering help to more than 958,000 people. The congress also elected a new executive board with 19 members. Nguyen Van Tinh, Vice-Chairman of the district’s 2nd Red Cross Society was elected as Chairman of the district’s 3rd Red Cross Society. The Congress also elected 15 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the 8th Congress of provincial Red Cross Society for the 2021-2026 tenure.
