Attending the reception was Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the CPV Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Head of the provincial National Assembly Delegation, Head of the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control; Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member, Head of the provincial Committee for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of the provincial Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front.
At the reception, on behalf of the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi expressedt the great gratitude to the contribution of all officers and employees of Hung Thinh Trade, Production and Construction Joint Stock Company. He said, the 5 ambulances will be distributed to 5 localities of Thu Dau Mot city, Ben Cat town, Phu Giao district, Bau Bang district and Dau Tieng district.
Up to now, Hung Thinh Trade, Production and Construction Joint Stock Company has donated 14 ambulances to the province to serve the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.
On the same day, the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control received 11,400 Covid-19 rapid test kits donated by Daejeon city of Korea and Yamaguchi Prefecture of Japan through the Department of Foreign Affairs. Attending the reception was Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Head of the provincial National Assembly Delegation, Head of the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee. The test kits presented by Daejeon City and Yamaguchi Prefecture are quick test products for Covid-19 testing.
The sensitivity and specificity of the test kit gives quick test results in 15 minutes after sampling and performing the test. Currently, test kits have been provided to many countries, as licensed for use in Vietnam by the Ministry of Health. The test kit is an effective tool contributing to the province's Covid-19 disease prevention and control.
Reportedly, out of a total of 11,400 rapid test kits, 6,400 were donated by Daejeon city and 5,000 by Yamaguchi Prefecture.
