According to the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, as of August 7, 535 agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals inside and outside of the province have supported and registered to support the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic in the province with a total amount of nearly VND 339 billion. By such sources of mobilization and donation, the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee has made expenditures from the provincial Relief Fund and in the mobilization source to support the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic (those are separate from the source of funding for the purchase of vaccines) at a total amount of nearly VND 77 billion to carry out epidemic prevention and control in the province.
In particular, in the past time, many organizations, individuals and businesses have actively contributed and donated necessary medical equipment and supplies to serve the medical sector in treatment and control of the Covid-19 epidemic. Specifically, the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the province received 13 ambulances, 1 medicine transporting vehicle, 1 ECMO system, 1 non-invasive aspirator, 123 aspirators, 7 multi-function aspirators, 37 oxygen generators, nearly 420,000 Covid-19 antigen test kits, 120 medical beds and many other medical supplies and biological products for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.
The Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the province also received more than 400 tons of goods, necessities, vegetables, fruits, and foods to support people in need and forces on duty to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic. In addition, the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the province coordinated with Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control of the province to receive many medical equipment and supplies to serve the treatment and prevention of Covid-19 epidemic in the province; they have also coordinated with the provincial Red Cross and the provincial Military Command to allocate goods, food and necessities to the quarantine and lockdown areas; "0 VND" humanitarian markets have been organized to support people and forces in charge of epidemic prevention and control. At the same time, the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee also mobilized many units, individuals and businesses inside and outside of the province to support equipment, medical supplies, and goods directly to hospitals, medical facilities, quarantined areas and disadvantaged people in the province to promptly serve the disease prevention and control and ensure the local social security.
