The 5th Congress of provincial State Employees’ Trade Union for the 2018-2023 tenure concluded on the morning of March 21.
Over the five years, the Executive Board of provincial State Employees’ Trade Union was flexible and creative in putting forward programs in line with the real situation of the bloc. Upon this, provincial State Employees’ Trade Union and its branches reached remarkable results in propaganda and education; took good care of trade unionists’ legitimate rights and interests and promoted emulation movements among trade unionists.
At the congress, delegates discussed some shortcomings in the operational process of provincial State Employees’ Trade Unions at all levels in the last tenure while sharing experience in effectively organizing emulation movements, taking care of trade unionists’ spiritual and material lives.

The congress selected a new executive board of provincial State Employees’ Trade Union for the 2018-2023 tenure with 16 members. Tran Thanh Liem was nominated as Chairman of provincial State Employees’ Trade Union for the new tenure. The congress also sorted out 32 delegates to attend the 17th provincial Trade Union Congress and the 5th National Trade Union Congress.
On this occasion, provincial Labor Union awarded the emulation banner for the best unit in realizing the program of “improving professional skills for trade unionists and laborers” for the period of 2013-2018 to provincial State Employees’ Trade Union.
