With the goal of building up a harmonious labor relationship, Binh Duong has just kicked off a ceremony to launch the 6th Week for Young Workers and the 2nd Workers’ Month. This event aims to express the attention of authorities at all levels to young workforce who now live and work in Binh Duong.

Accordingly, this year’s Week for Young Workers will organize many significant activities for young workers at province-based industrial parks (Ips), including presenting gifts to alien young workers with extremely difficult circumstances; organizing a variety show for young workers at province-based Ips; providing them with free medical check-ups and medicine; opening a joyful market-day and honoring outstanding sub-unions for youths at lodging facilities and young workers; kicking off a program named “Lighting up young workers’ dreams in setting themselves up in business”; mobilizing organizations and individuals to raise money for provincial Fund for Alien Young Workers with Difficulties; setting up at least 30 branches of Trade Union and Youth Union in State-run enterprises…
After six-year development, the province’s week for young workers has constantly developed and become a chance for the local people and organizations to express their attention to young workers who now live, study and work in the province while creating opportunities for young workers to train their life skills and raise their responsibility to the society.
Provincial Steering Boards at all levels over time organized many programs to take care of young workers’ lives, comprising of 14 joyful market-days; job days with discount programs, variety shows, games, luring the participation of over 100,000 turns of young workers…Provincial Fund for Alien Young Workers with Difficulties also provided more than VND1bln for the local lodging sub-unions to organize Tet celebrations for young workers with extremely difficult circumstances. In addition, authorities at all levels organized many job transaction sessions at provincial Job Placement Center with more than 5,000 laborers directly recruited; provided free medical check-ups and medicine for more than 4,000 young workers across the province with a total expense of VND230mln.
At the ceremony, provincial Fund for Alien Young Workers with Difficulties donated cash gifts worth VND1mln each to 55 young workers with extremely difficult circumstances. Provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Huynh Van Nhi informed about the province’s socio-economic and cultural development over the past time with infrastructure invested in a synchronous way and people’s lives improved. These achievements were greatly contributed by young workers. Binh Duong’s Party, government and people always attached special importance to taking care of young workers’ spiritual and material lives over the past time…
