A conference to implement the 6th provincial Week for Young Workers was held on the morning on April 17.
Accordingly, this year’s week for young workers will mobilize donors to subscribe around VND300mln to the local support fund for young workers with difficulties; present at least 50 support packages to young workers with extremely difficult circumstances; provide free medical check-ups and medicine for 1,000 young workers; organize the “Lighting up dreams” program entitled “Young workers setting themselves up in business”; open computer classes, a job day and introduce jobs to young workers; kick off a number of cultural-sports activities for them…
Addressing the conference, provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Huynh Van Nhi affirmed that this would be a significant week in association with many events to celebrate the 38th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification, May Day and the “Month for young workers” launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, contributing to expressing the attention of the local organizations, sectors and enterprises in the task of taking care of young workers’ spiritual and material lives.
