On March 11, Tran Hong Dung, Vice Chairwoman of People's Committee, Deputy Head of Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Phu Giao District, said that the implementation of the third shot vaccination against Covid-19 reached 70% the whole population of the district.
The district leaders directed communes and towns to come to each household to investigate and make a list of people who have not received the third shot. The District Medical Center organizes injections every day to speed up the progress. In order to facilitate the vaccination for people and workers in the area, the district will organize injections on Sundays at vaccination sites.
Specifically, the district will organize third shot injection for four localities along DT741 Avenue, including: Phuoc Hoa, Vinh Hoa, Phuoc Vinh and An Binh, then will continue to impelement in the remaining communes. The district is striving to achieve the rate of vaccinated people with third shot by March 15 according to the province's direction. In addition, the district is also assisting units and armed forces stationed in the area to complete the third-dose injection. The district has now completed vaccinations for more than 3,000 people at An Phuoc Detention Center and will continue to vaccinate remaining units when receiving vaccines.
