Over the past time, Phu Giao district implemented the tasks of issuing social insurance books and cards and resolving relevant regimes for people in a timely and complete manner.
In the first 10 months of 2023, the district’s Steering Committee for implementing policies on social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance mobilized 8,472 people to join compulsory social insurance, reaching 93.14% of the year’s plan; 743 people to join voluntary social insurance, reaching 51.1% of the year's plan; 7,927 people to join unemployment insurance, reaching 96.9% of the year's plan; 72,304 people to join health insurance, reaching 81% of the year's plan. Among them, 19,373 out of 19,407 students joined in health insurance, or 99.82% of total.
Also during the period, the total amount of social insurance and unemployment insurance payments in the district was over VND 198 billion, an increase of 26.41% over the same period last year.
