In 2005, Bach Dang commune Women Union had few members. So as to develop the union, Mrs. So arrived at local households to mobilize sisters to join in the union. She managed to create many various movements and activities attaching to local sisters’ benefits in an attempt to attract and gather members.
Thenceforth, the number of members increases significantly with more than 1,200 participants, 200 of whom are key members. Mrs. So shared “The most important thing to mobilize people is that we must grasp their psychology and enthusiastically reply their queries”.
Mrs. So said that union cadres should set an example in all movements. Therefore, she is always the vanguard and wins members’ trust and support. As such, Bach Dang commune Women Union’s members join positively in clubs such as “5 no and 3 clean club”, “Club for without giving third child”, “Happy family club”, among others.
Along with movements and activities, the union helps members develop homebased business. In order to well implement this work, Mrs. So mobilizes sisters to build the model of saving for needy women in the purpose of offering low interest rate loans for underprivileged members.
In addition, the union mobilizes to build 3 charity houses with the total value of about VND70mil, grant gifts to needy households and so on.
“My wish is to mobilize sisters to participate positively in movements in attachment to 6 key tasks of the union in an attempt to improve local sisters’ life”, So revealed.
With the done achievements, Bach Dang commune Women Union and Mrs. So were granted many merit certificates. Especially, Mrs. So was awarded Insignia for development of population, family and children, Insignia for development of women by the Central Women Union.
