At the activity commemorating the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relation between Vietnam and Japan organized by Binh Duong Provincial Women's Union with the theme "Binh Duong women with Japanese culture", to respond to the activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and at the same time implement the province's 2023 foreign affairs program, designer Chau My Ly presented Ao Dai to high-prize winning contestants to perform in this program.
Designer Chau My Ly said she loves Ao Dai very much. Through Provincial Women's Union, she had a chance to express her passion and love through the collection she designed. At the same time, this was also an opportunity for her to be grateful to the teacher who taught, taught, and inspired her in the past, that is designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam. Contributing to this event is her way of expressing gratitude to the Women's Union for giving her the opportunity to further develop her favorite Ao Dai design profession.
“The collection is called Lotus’s beauty from Uncle Ho's hometown. I want to both promote the beauty of traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai and express my love for Uncle Ho's homeland. I am very pleased and happy to assist the Provincial Women's Union in this program. The Women's Union had a program to present Ao Dai to heroic Vietnamese mothers. I really like this and want to do the same program. As an ao dai designer, I am very willing to do such a meaningful thing to express my gratitude to mothers," Chau My Ly shared.
