After 75 years of establishment and development, with practical and concrete actions, the Red Cross Society has done a miracle of bringing the light of faith to the poor, helping the disadvantaged and unfortunate people suffering from fatal diseases to rise up in life in accordance with the principles and purposes set forth by it.
The first success that can be mentioned is that the Red Cross Society has gathered a force full of compassion. The force is not only the society’s staff, but also collaborators and donors, regardless of richness or poorness or status. All of them come to the society with a heart being always towards the community, for the community, especially for disadvantaged people in the society. With this kind heart, those who come to the Red Cross Society have worked together to create miracles, bringing love to unfortunate people. From their deeds, many families have overcome poverty. Many children have been successful in education and many people with fatal diseases have escaped from the scythe of death.
The next success of the Red Red Society is to build a bridge for people at home and abroad to share together. The bridge built by the Red Cross Association is more and more solid and pervasive. From this bridge, the society's resources are mobilized, forming up a general strength with the Party and State to take care of policy beneficiary families and disadvantaged people, thereby contributing to improving social welfare. Only during the recent strong outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Red Cross Society has joined hands with the local political system to fight against the pandemic. Taking care of food is the most practical thing for people to feel secure against the pandemic. Without resources from the Red Cross Society, it is sure that the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic would be more difficult. Though being silent, the merits of the Red Cross Society are so noble.
