On Sept. 23, a survey delegation led by Nguyen Minh Giao, head of the Cultural and Social Committee under the provincial People’s Council paid a visit to Dau Tieng district-based 5 historic and cultural relics. Accordingly, the delegation paid surveys to Kien An Forest historic relic, Vuon Trau revolutionary base, Ho Chi Minh campaign’s headquarters relic and more.
According to Dau Tieng district People’s Committee, the district now has one the national relic and 9 provincial ones. In addition, there are 14district level relics that have not been yet recognized. Most of these relics are preserved and managed well by the local administration, meeting local and foreign visitors’ learning demand.
Aside from advantaged conditions, preservation and protection of relics remain difficult. Therefore, the district People’s Committee petitioned the provincial administration to set out policies and proper allowances for watchmen working at these relics.
At these locations, the delegation members specified reasons of shortcomings to set timely out solutions in a bid to promote relics’ values, contributing to develop Binh Duong’s tourism industry.
