At 18 pm of Jan.19, 2012, Phu Loi ward’s Cultural-Sports Center will kick off a festive night in celebration of the Party and lunar New Year 2012 for young workers at the local lodging facilities with a lot of significant activities, including lion-unicorn-dragon dances, a cake-making contest…Many gifts will be also presented to young workers with difficult circumstance.

An Binh ward in Di An town is one of the province’s localities with a large number of immigrant workers. It is expected that there will be many immigrant workers to stay in Binh Duong to enjoy Tet, due to many reasons.
Dao Thi Hau, secretary of An Binh ward’s Youth Union said that An Binh ward has planned to organize an art performance named “Enjoying the lunar New Year 2012” for young workers; present gifts to young workers with difficult circumstance and hold a games pavilion in association with the campaign of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” and in response to the “Year of Safe Traffic” 2012.
Also according to Dao Thi Hau, An Binh ward has also called for proprietors’ clubs to team up with the local authorities to organize Tet celebrations for young workers.
Meanwhile, provincial Labor Union and Industrial Parks’Youth Union has visited and presented thousands of Tet gifts to workers who are not able to return home for Tet.
Along with many other significant activities, provincial Industrial Parks’ Youth Union has planned to provide officials and members of the trade union locals at non-State businesses with trips back home for Tet, said Le Nho Luong, vice-secretary of the Youth Union.
Provincial Labor Union and Industrial Parks’ Youth Union will also present 1,000 Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each to workers who are not able to return home for Tet; organize a get-together for youth union officials away from home; cooperate with provincial Traditional Art Troupe to hold art performances for workers…
It is believed that with the thoughtful care of the local authorities and businesses, workers who cannot return home for Tet will enjoy a joyful and warm Tet.
