The number of young workers staying in Binh Duong for Tet this year saw increase compared to the previous years. Thanks to the attention of provincial leaders and Youth Unions at all levels, these young workers also enjoyed a warm Tet.
On the evening of February 2 (December 29 of lunar calendar), a delegation of provincial leaders, led by provincial Party Committee Deputy Chief cum People’s Council Chairman Vu Minh Sang visited and presented 110 Tet gifts worth VND200,000 each to alien workers of JM Caps Vietnam Co. and Shyang Hung Chengn Co. in Thuan An district. He also hoped that these small gifts would be encouragement for them and they would enjoy a warm Tet.
Prior to that, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee visited and donated VND1mln to Le Trong Tam, from central Thanh Hoa province, a needy worker of Kim Huy in Thuan An district’s Binh Chuan commune. Thirty nine other alien workers with hard circumstances also received the attention and help from provincial Youth Union.
Apartedly, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee provided young workers with 1,000 free entrance tickets to the Lac Canh Dai Nam Van Hien and the Suoi Tien tourist area with a total expense of nearly VND120 in a bid to bring them a joyful Tet. Many entertainment activities welcoming Tet for young workers were also organized by provincial Youth Unions at all levels…
