Provincial Police Office of Drug Crime Investigation informed that it successfully destroyed a case of illegal drug trafficking and storage, confiscated more than 776 grams of all kinds of drugs, and arrested leaders Nguyen Xuan Hoa (born 1993, in Ha Tinh) and Pham Anh Tu (born 2000, in Nghe An) and 6 related subjects according to provisions of law.
Previously, the police force determined that Nguyen Xuan Hoa was involved in an inter-provincial and transnational illegal drug trading network. Meanwhile, Pham Anh Tu was a person who specializes in stealing motorbikes and possesses handguns. Both were linked to buying drugs in large quantities.
With the evidence collected, the Provincial Police Drug Crime Investigation coordinated with Thuan An City Police and Tan Uyen City Police to simultaneously deploy forces to arrest 10 subjects related to illegal buying, selling and storing of drugs, seizing a total of more than 776 grams of various types of drugs and many other exhibits. As searching Pham Anh Tu's house, the police discovered and confiscated a gun and 4 bullets, including 1 loaded bullet.
In order to promptly encourage and reward the outstanding achievements of the police forces involved in solving the case, Colonel Tran Van Chinh, Deputy Director, Head of Provincial Police Investigation Agency, praised and rewarded with an amount of VND20 million.
