Early May 31, at Binh Duong Provincial Children House, Steering Board for children and adolescence activities coordinated with Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to initiate action month for children and summertime festival for children.
At the festival, 500 children representing children in the province are offered opportunities to express their dreams and hope under the theme of "listening to children".

At 7:00 or more, majority of the attending children were present at the Children House. The program was opened by an attractive show performed by children members of the Children House. On the stage, the performs showed off their enthusiasm while the children audience waved up their hands to create animated atmosphere.
Pham Thanh Thanh from Thu Dau Mot City said: “This is the first time I have attended the ceremony. I am so happy to know more friends and enjoy the care of teachers and parents. I promise to make great learning achievement and being a child of piety and excellent student.”
Recently, Binh Duong Province has paid much attention to care for and educate children as well as building up safe and healthy environment for basic rights of children. Many children of specially harsh circumstances or being disable or suffering from life-threatening diseases have been supported and encouraged both in terms of mentality and material so that they have conditions for development and community integration. Implementing the motto of listening to children from June 1 through 30 of the action month for children, Binh Duong Province will promote propaganda to improve awareness and responsibility for protection, care and educate children, particularly the prevention of violence and abuse of children as well as injuries. Concurrently, the province will continue directing the education of children and adolescence from June 1 to August 15 in effective, quality and practical manner.
Supporting the month, Kim Oanh Real Estates awarded 100 scholarship packages to children on the school starting day at the cost of VND 250,000 each including VND 100,000 in cash and gift. The small presents were very encouraging th the children for their overcoming of difficulties to pursue schooling and training in a joyful summer holiday. At the ceremony, the attending children also attended painting contest, folklore games, and children book stalls amongst picture exhibition and art performances.
Addressing the ceremony, Mrs. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Youth’s League informed of achievements made for the care and protection of children; however, many challenges emerged for resolution of sectors and departments including living conditions for children in families, schools and communities of high safety risks. Thus, the supplements of childhood should be taken care of and prioritized by the whole society.
The ceremony was concluded with various meanings to improve awareness and responsibility by the care of Party Committee, local authorities, departments, sectors, unions, and the society regarding the protection, care and education of children.
